What the hell is Cryptoogle? Cryptoogle is a new kind of encryption developed by the frozenbill, JaggedEdges or Gnome (whichever you know him by, it's all the same person). Cryptoogle is designed to serve as an algorythm for securing data and putting a time-bomb on it. Whatever key you choose gets put through a Google query. Cryptoogle then assembles the results and uses this compilation as a key in a Blowfish cipher on whatever data you want to hide. The decrypter works exactly in reverse. This simple algorythm can protect your data far more than a normal cipher can.
Why bother? Since Google results are always being updated, your data won't be encrypted the same way a month in the future. Your password is suddenly irreversible after a short amount of time. Also, it's the only kind of hash that I know of that can't be bruteforced. (At least, without alerting Google and getting yourself arrested. =)
What should I use it for? Secure conversations that should never be relayed again, handshakes, transmitting passwords securely where you might only want to have the password reversable for a certain amount of time...I dunno, lots of situations. It's more of a proof of concept at the moment. Imagine integrating this into a chat program for added security though.
Wherrrrre be the source? Arrr! Email me! I'll release it publically if I get enough demand. My email is gnome SPAMSUCKS at gnomepi dot com. (Take out the SPAMSUCKS of course.)
