This release will get the device class and type, automatically launch carwhisperer on headsets and car kits, automatically launch btftp on laptops and desktops, and automatically send Symbian remote restart and l2cap header size overflow to mobile phones. It fixes bugs in scan_and_attack, scan_and_info, and get_device_info. Vendor detection via an IEEE OUI file has been added. There is a new menu design. BSS has been updated to version 0.8.


Bluediving is a Bluetooth penetration testing suite.

It implements attacks like Bluebug, BlueSnarf, BlueSnarf++, BlueSmack, has features such as Bluetooth address spoofing, an AT and a RFCOMM socket shell and implements tools like carwhisperer, bss, L2CAP packetgenerator, L2CAP connection resetter, RFCOMM scanner and greenplaque scanning mode (using more than one hci device).
