Are you looking for a rewarding job working with ISV (Independent Software Vendor) partners and the latest technology? We are looking for a Developer Evangelist (v- headcount) at Jinan, Shandong Province, to provide leadership for all aspects of engagements with local software partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with ISVs to drive adoption of Microsoft platform technologies. Hold training sessions and architecture/design reviews. Meet with ISV development managers and teams, articulating the value of .NET technology and how to develop for it.
Establish and maintain credible technical/business relationships with ISVs by becoming a trusted advisor for their development and business strategy. Have a detailed understanding of ISV requirements and translate to the value of Microsoft .NET. Communicate effectively both internally and externally.
Your specific responsibilities include, but not limited to, analyzing key ISVs and identifying their business and technical challenges; crafting business value propositions; engaging with ISVs’ key decision makers to secure a commitment to Microsoft technologies; acting as an advocate for ISV partners within Microsoft; speaking at developer and industry conferences; producing content, demos, and other materials, and providing training in its delivery. Ideally, you should be equally comfortable addressing executives, business decision makers, architects and developers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate should possess strong technical background, including previous experience developing enterprise applications that require significant scalability, reliability and manageability; strong communication and presentation skills; experience with .NET technologies. Candidate should have a passion in working with the latest technology across a broad range of computing software, highly motivated to complete tasks on time and with high quality, and enjoy working with people and helping others to succeed. Candidates should also be a self-starter, service oriented and driven towards self improvement and development. A blend of curiosity, creativity, persistence, commitment, passion and optimism is desired.
Candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills with public speaking experience. 8 years of experience with at least 2 years industry experience developing commercial applications desired. Must be able to work independently. A BA/BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline preferred.
